Austin SEC Club

Most of you have heard of the Annual SEC Tailgate Picnic that is held in August the weekend before the official start of college football. From that annual SEC celebration has grown an "official" SEC board that plans events for all the SEC schools to participate in throughout the year. There is now also an official Austin SEC Facebook Page and an official Austin SEC Website.

Here is the 2012 tentative calendar. We'll add links as they become available!

Come out for an afternoon of golf and friendly competition with your fellow SEC alumni and friends! Your $75 per golfer entry fee in our four person scramble tournament includes green fee, cart, range balls, lunch from the grill, and a pass for another round (good Mon-Thurs). Registration starts at 11am, with lunch served shortly thereafter. There will be a 1:00pm shot-gun start so don't be late! There will also be a putting contest and exciting prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin on select holes! Start practicing and get your teams together now!

Please keep in mind that the remaining balance, after the costs are covered, will be added up and divided among each school's local alumni association to be donated to their individual scholarship funds based upon the number of participants from each school. It is a great cause and a great time! Make sure to go and represent LSU!!
