The governing authority of this Chapter is a Board of Directors consisting of the officers and at least eight alumni members, including the Chapter's immediate past president who shall serve ex-officio. The Board of Directors is vested with the authority to manage all of the business and affairs of this Chapter.
The Chapter Board of Directors is elected annually. Currently, we follow the academic year, holding elections in May or June. In 2011 our elections were held on May 14th at our Annual Luncheon. Anyone can participate in the board of directors, the only requirement is that you are a member in good standing - which means you have paid your annual dues. One of the powers vested in the board is the ability to vote in additional board members. So just because you missed the luncheon does not mean you missed you chance to participate! Send an email to the current president if you are interested in serving on the board.
