Football Viewing

That national championship game was excruciatingly painful. But there is "always next year". Let's see what happens in the 2012 season!!

We currently have 2 venues where we are guaranteed both TVs and sound - even in the event of a scheduling conflict with the University of Texas! Shoal Creek Saloon is located at 909 North Lamar. We have been going here for the past 5 years, and we have been treated very well. Lavaca Street Bar, located at 405 Lavaca Street, is a new location for LSU football viewings as of 2008. Lavaca added a back area with a huge screen for their projector, and we take that back area over for our games - letting UT have the rest of the establishment.

Very important to note, not every LSU game is televised. Please make sure you are on our mailing list and also join our Facebook page to make sure you receive notice if a game will not be shown so you can make other arrangements.

In the past, we've been at locations including Pluckers at 183 and Burnet, and Warehouse Saloon at 71 and I35. We have found that north and south locations just don't get the draw that central locations do. If you happen to have a favorite spot where you go to watch the games and would like for other Tigers to join you, send us an email and we'll list it here!
