Thank you to everyone that participated in the October 2011 Habitat build. We had a great crew that once again impressed our fellow volunteers and the Habitat team. Things started slowly as we had to undo an 'issue' created by a crew 2 weeks before us. We had to unattach the roof trusses on one side of the house and move them ~2 inches so they were square with the rest of the house. Several people commented that an Aggie crew was probably responsible! Once that was resolved, we attacked the roof decking and exterior siding installation like The Honey Badger attacks opposing offenses. It was a long day but well worth a couple hammered thumbs and a slight sunburn.
