SEC Tailgate

Every year, all 12 SEC schools get together in Austin for the annual SEC Tailgate Picnic to kick off football season. For the past several years the picnic has been held in Zilker Park at the Polo Tables one or two weekends before college football begins. In 2009, the picnic was held on August 29th. The total count was nearly 400 SEC fans, and nearly 100 LSU fans. LSU was by far the largest group there! We had a couple of people show up with food to share. And a special thanks goes out to Phillip Rasy, with Liberty Mutual Insurance, for sponsoring (and cooking!!) burgers and hot dogs - including buns and toppings and condiments - along with the grill to cook everything.
