Come help us FUNdraise for our local LSU students!  We'll be celebrating good times with gumbo, courtesy of Stuffed Cajun Meat Market, and jamming to the glorious tunes of Kimberly Krohn, an alum of Pat O’s piano bar, and other classic New Orleans music during Kimberly’s breaks.  Wear your finest purple & gold, your tiger stripes, and don't forget about da dancin’ shoes!! Tickets include gumbo dinner, beer & wine, and dessert. We'll have raffle & auction items available, as well as a photo booth.  (Note that the live auction will be shortened this year to allow for more dancing and conversation.)

Proceeds will benefit the LSU Austin Scholarship fund!  All alumni, friends, fans & family of LSU are welcome to attend!

New Location! This year's event will be held at the Junior League of Austin, 5330 Bluffstone Ln, Austin, TX 78759 in the Prominent Pointe Building 1, located near Highway 183 and Loop 360. (Free parking available in the parking garage next to the building!)  It’s a beautiful space with room for mixing & mingling and balcony access.

Itinerary:

6:30 pm - cocktails and appetizers / silent auction 

7 pm - dinner 

7:30 - program / live auction / brief business meeting to vote in new officers & board

8-9 pm - dancing

This year's Gumbeaux Dinner will feature Kimberly Krohn, an international piano bar entertainer based in Austin, TX. Kimberly is a traveling troubadour who has performed for all manner of clubs, venues, and festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the World Economic Forum in Davos, and an eleven-year residency at Pat O'Briens in New Orleans.
